One driver recently proved that there is, in fact, something worse than totaling your car in a hit-and-run accident — totaling a second car after totaling your car in a hit-and-run accident.

In a clip shared to r/PublicFreakout on Wednesday, one driver apparently didn’t care that the entire front bumper of their vehicle had been smashed to near smithereens after T-boning a delivery truck, pulling out and speeding away.

Yet, as they attempted to make a getaway, hurdling down a nearby road, their escape plan quickly went south as they found themselves heading into oncoming traffic where they landed in a head-on collision with another vehicle.

“Mein Gott!” a passerby can be heard saying at the harrowing sight.

So take it from this likely legally-strapped driver: “When in doubt, pull out” does most definitely not apply to driving.
